Quite solid and detailed map for its time, while having the typical openess and novelty of map of that year.
It's small, relatively simple, and cramped in some places, but I found the atmosphere to be fantastic. It feels very E4-ish in some respects.
Average quake map for its time constructed with decent level design, and architecture. Combat is very fair and engaging as well with adequate ammo supplies provided within the level. However the level is short in game play duration and can be completed rather quickly. I would give this map a four out of five rating and would recommend this map for a quick play through .
I give this a solid 4. Old school, simplistic architecture, but intricate enough to be interesting, and I like the submerged section rather a lot.
A highly competent map with nicely detailed brushwork and a moody atmosphere. The gameplay's good, too. I recall a single case of a cheap enemy teleporting in your face moment, but otherwise it was nice.
