Mars Base Excavation Incident
Large Doom-style level using original Doom textures. It starts out in a remake/conversion of E1M1 and provides a journey through various base and underground/marble temple areas, effectively using a Doom-like layout. Comes with a custom skybox and a music track.Note: This map requires a source port with increased limits.

Great map with a nostalgic doom feeling with e1m1 intro! The transition between a tecbase and medieval feels very nice as you go deeper on the level!
Nice Doom homage with really though gameplay on NM. Great brushwork and progression!
Great music track, too.
I'm generally not a fan of Doom-themed Quake maps, but this does a good job of melding Doom architecture and textures with Quake gameplay. I'll second ShadowRunner's comment that the transitions from one visual theme to the next are very well done. Actually, the whole map looks good except for one button texture that seems off to me. The map has a bunch of highlights, but I particularly like the toxic waste pool with rising and falling platforms and the "plot twist" near the start.
Wow, this must be one of the best, if not the best Doom-themed map I've ever played for Quake. Spot-on brushwork and gameplay highly reminiscent of the aforementioned game yet that still feels Quake-y enough. An half-an-hour ride that never gets stale.
Very enjoyable Doom themed map for Quake. Big loops on the layout were really nice. Sector like geo was really funny to see, felt like it could've been a real Doom map.
