Indeed cramped, but still kinda fun, at least if every secret is found (which shouldn't be too hard). I'd rate it 3+.
One of the best 1997 levels, and I generally dislike small levels.
The only substantial fault is that the secrets are not only overpowered but also extremely easy to find.
The blue color scheme is aesthetically pleasing, but I didn't like this otherwise. It's just an endless series of close-quarters combats in cramped passages. I don't mind the occasional close combat as part of a map that also has open spaces, but it quickly gets old when it's all the map offers. Also, the walls and floors have a lot of jagged edges, so it's easy to get stuck on some protruding light or plaque and be immobilized while enemies are hurtling toward you. And as the previous commenter mentioned, the secrets are obvious, so there's no opportunity for exploration.
The gameplay is a challenge, but it's not the kind of challenge I enjoy.
