Simple brushwork that doesn't feel that simple, but decent combats, even if they are scarce.
Have to try it with the snakeman on.
If someone interested, here is that "snakeman" mod. With it this level won't be so scarce... and will be tougher.
Previous bubbah's works were better. I almost got lost in that cubish undetailed labyrinth. This is bad when important ways needed for map solution are so dark and imperceptible. It's good for secret rooms, but not for main way.
This would be fantastic for deathmatch, but as a single-player map it's not particularly good.
If I were to rate this solely based on the map (no extra points for the custom monster), I'd have to give it just a 2/5. The map is simply an uninteresting looking maze. I did like the idea of having those narrow columns against which you could take cover from the snakemen's fire.
The map doesn't supply you with very much ammo, so make them count.
