The level is a bit strange in giving the nailgun rather early, and then the supernailgun as well, which makes things a tad too easy. There is also a rocket launcher which feels like overkill... and all of this ultimately is to get a gold key, that is poorly guarded, which opens up to a rather abrupt exit.
Entertaining in its own right, but honestly, I would rate this one as Average.
This map was shorter than I would have liked, but aside from a few strange choices (RL? Why not GL?) I enjoyed it. The enemy counts can be a bit on the high side in certain areas, almost guaranteeing that the player will take either a significant amount of damage or have to crawl through at a snail's pace, but generally it's an enjoyable romp as you chew through lower level enemies with a NG.
I do wish more had been done at the end though; as scar3crow pointed out, there isn't really anything exciting about the gold key or what comes afterwards.
