Good, tight map. Modern releases are gigantic, so it's nice to have snack size maps like this one available. This map sets a simple theme and sticks to it, and it works well. There were only a couple of technical quirks: Monsters in an ambush had to be woken up after they appear. Things like that.

I wrote some bits about the gameplay but deleted them when I realized they were kind of spoilers. Which is probably a good thing for a map to have. Surprises.

I very much enjoyed this map. It's very short, but has tight, difficult combat and some awesome ambushes. I usually don't enjoy fighting Vores, but I think they use them right in this map. In some maps they use them as enemies that you can only damage a bit at a time before going behind cover, but in this one they're used to keep you moving through the whole battle, and that's how I like them to be used. It's an excellent map and I recommend it to everyone.

Played on nightmare. All monsters killed and secrets found.

Completently and neatly assembled and fun to play, but nothing memorable on it.

Layout is good with many loops and revisiting areas. Brushwork is around ID maps levels or higher. Gameplay varies in difficulty, from way easier than ID maps to ID maps one, including some arguably unfair moments. Amount and placement of ammo/armour is good, a bit tight maybe, health is a half of what is usually seen in ID maps. Secrets are well placed and with fair rewards.

For its time, 5-.

This, to me, is a quintessential example of a classic runic map: good layout, great gameplay, solid construction, and nice secrets. I only wish that there was more of it!

I played this because it is the smallest (file size) Editor's 5-star map currently on quaddicted. It's OK, though I completely ran out of ammo and had to axe the last bad guy. Gets 4 instead of 3 because of some nice details and a really strange joke / fact in the readme that made me laugh.
