Okay, so this was AWESOME. I'm not going to break these levels down in detail, but rather say that my LEAST favorite was excellent!

Awesome pack. I loved Bloodshot's 'Liquidation Central': great utilization of the expanded toolset, heavy on atmosphere, enjoyable gameplay reminiscent of exploration based shooters. Giftmacher's 'Solis Tribus' and Pritchard's 'The Long Way Round' come a close second, due to their cavernous underground vibes and tight gameplay. More on the classic Quake side of things, JCR's / Mukor's maps are also a joy to go through.

I am going back to those maps I played long ago but never rated, and I'm glad I found Bloodshot's map back again. It left a great impression on me back then but I couldn't remember who authored it or what pack it came from, and replaying it just now was as great an experience as I remembered. Just like the author's effort from Jam X, great storytelling meets stunning visuals and the result is a wonderful map that expands Quake horizons. I really hope more is in the works.

Some hits, some slight misses, but overall a really fun pack with level that use a surprisingly underused mechanic in Quake to a very high quality. Enjoyed Muk's level the most, with Bloodshot and Giftmacher's following close behind.

Doesn't work with Steam release

Does this need the extras subfolder in id1 or is it safe when it starts from its own uwjam subfolder? The ABOUT.TXT is not really a help as it seems to be hacked together with the original ABOUT from the extras mod...
