A different style from the usual. Too small for so many secrets.
Looks nice, pretty original, a bit rough brushwork. Gameplay is somewhat questionable. Funny EXIT EXIT EXIT door. Too short...
Terrible map with deadends. Pointless. Ok for its age but nothing else.
it seems like the author was experimenting with brush work to me.
Eat This... on The Quake Grave
I have to agree with dBAudio in saying that it feels like more of an experiment than an actual map. Weird architectural stuff aside, and also agreeing with Spirit, half of the map really doesn't have a point. You could start the map and rush to the EXIT EXIT EXIT, and there's no reason to explore the rest of the map. Obviously we know this but there always has to be a reason to keep exploring. Whether it's trying to find a key to open the exit door or needing to find a better weapon to destroy the enemies in the way, you have to give the player a reason to see the rest of what you've created besides their own curiosity.
The map is competent and you can finish it no problem, but all in all it just doesn't seem to be a cohesive idea and really could've used a little more work.
This map has a bunch of interesting ideas, but it doesn't put them together in any coherent way.
