A singleplayer, Copper version of the originally cut DM7 map, Acrophobia by American McGee that was added to the rerelease of Quake. Inspired by the DMxSP maps made by Basil De Vries. Includes a music track (with artist permission) by David Szymanski, "Amid Bones" originally used for Iron Lung. Requires Copper.

SHORT DESCRIPTION
10 speedmaps + start map inspired by e1m4 - The Grisly Grotto. Mappers had 60 hours to create a map using custom progs - based on Copper v1.20 and featuring the diving gear from Dwell (included) - with no restrictions on texturing or gameplay other than the prompt.

The event ran from midnight UTC on 16/09/2023 to midday UTC on
18/09/2023.

Organised and packaged by h4724.

Thank you. The Slipseer link on the DB page is broken. Looks like you copied the shortened preview instead of the full address. I don't know if Quaddicted allows one to post a url in the forums without it being shortened; apologies if I've missed something!

P.S.: It have an epic starting map, which is similar to the dungeons of Pripyat from Stalker (a room with a dome in which there was a huge rotary excavator in the original build). There are a lot of references to Stalker in this jam. Which made me very happy. :-)

Andrew you need to stop posting links here OR start following the correct procedures linked in #837 above. You need to follow the template.

My personal preference is that you stop, but that's not up to me. The admins of jams or mappers themselves should be posting in this thread not 3rd parties IMO.

I concur, please just make a new thread for posting any new maps, mods etc. :)

*This* thread is really about additions to the database and as I detailed above, I currently can not add random releases on a whim.

I will rename this thread to "Tracking new releases for addition to the database" to separate it.

As you wish. It's just that new releases on this site appear with a big delay. For example, I recently found out about the existence of a website "slipseer.com" and used only this website.

When a link from the map creator appears on this website, I usually redirect my message to its source here.

First of all You SHOULD esteem the Rules approved in common sandbox. It is simple, trust me, my friend. Please, try to  figure it up what is Quaddicted for and why Slipseer was created.
- Try to ask the autor of content You posting about for permission of it, etc...
