Forum will move to subdomain, how shall we name it?

Due to upcoming changes the forum will move to a separate subdomain. This will also be the place when people can add comments to releases (they will be embedded on release pages).

How shall we name it? :D

discussion.quaddicted.com?
netherworld.quaddicted.com?
elderworld.quaddicted.com?
void.quaddicted.com?
forum.quaddicted.com?
talk.quaddicted.com?
quack.quaddicted.com? ;D
Any other suggestion?

forums <---  Forums is supposed to be plural.  Forum means topic.

not that this really matters ... I'm just saying ...

That is revolutionary information for me.

Re: Forum will move to subdomain, how shall we name it?

Forum, in this context, means a medium for open discussion or voicing of ideas, such as a newspaper, a radio or television program, or [in our case] a website. (Source: https://www.thefreedictionary.com/forum).

Also, according to Wikipedia, an Internet forum, or message board, is an online discussion site where people can hold conversations in the form of posted messages. A topic is a subject of conversation within a forum, and a single discussion on a specific topic is called a thread. A forum can have multiple topics, and it can be divided into subforums. For more information: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet_forum.

Re: Forum will move to subdomain, how shall we name it?

I guess it is now a discussion whether it should be "forum.quaddicted.com" or "forums.quaddicted.com"?

I think with the "forums" thing it is like with the "politics" thing - "politic" means something different than "policy" as far as the dictionary does tell.

I do have passion for linguistics but it is mostly about digging a lot of misunderstandings, you see.

Also, according to Wikipedia, an Internet fourm, or message board

I declare you the winner.

Although it will take some getting used to, I guess we are calling it "fourm.quaddicted.com".

Oh, sorry about the typo. :) It slipped through my radar. I've now corrected it.

Therefore, phonetically speaking, revolutionizing of our forums by adding an ass to it has been unsuccessful.
