This map is nice but can be very frustrating if you step or fall into one of the numerous death traps. Save often.

A nice little map. According to the author it took 5 days to create, and that seems about right. As a turtlemap, this is of pretty good quality. It has a fairly strong visual component, which shows the author's 99' DM background (if that makes sense). The sky is seen very frequently, unlike in many metal maps. There is a pretty good use of vanilla Q1's stock ambient sounds, too actually.
route is pretty good, doing some decent backtracking etc. Gameplay overall is very nice, despite how tight this map is. There are some problems with monsters being activated too early in a couple cases which can lead somewhat unfortunate results, however. If this were a Tronyn map that wouldn't be a big issue, but in a small one like this it becomes (a minor) one. A bit more could also have been done with the finale.
Despite all that, this is a good map. I wish the author had made more of his maps SP compatible.

What a ridiculously hard map.

Mean map is mean.

Map is technically competent, difficulty is hard.

This is a cool little Metal map! It's an above average build that gives you a good challenge. As far as difficulty goes, if you go through this map carefully and methodically, it's actually not bad. There are other maps that are way more hard than this one (on normal anyway). I agree with Drew that it's too bad that Adam only did one SP map and focused more on DM ones.
