Strafing, jumping grunts. Lots of them. The map itself is not too bad but the gameplay is ...

Grunts with bot AI and weapons. Map is average. Ugly custom textures.

I feel bad for the poor grunts; they were given such an upgrade, and then shoved unceremoniously into a poorly built map. Such a waste!

That said, I liked the originals better anyway.

As stated in the map readme, this map should be played as if you were playing deathmatch, to help players adjust their mindset and expectations. I'd also suggest starting out with easy difficulty, because this map doesn't mess around! Then make your way up one skill level at a time. In higher difficulty levels you should also swallow your pride and save often. Finding secrets also becomes extremely beneficial and almost mandatory.

When played with the right mindset, it's quite an interesting challenge; a weird blend of botmatch and singleplayer. The map kind of requires you to learn it by trial and error and develop the optimal path to make use of the secrets at the right time. Otherwise you'll likely be dying a lot of the time. If you don't mind that kind of gameplay, give this map a try.
