More inventive than fmb1 and fmb2, but that doesn't necessarily work to the map's advantage. The invention can feel contrived and arbitrary rather than provocative or inspiring. Also, far too much of the action takes place in cramped corridors that not only impede combat but look dull, too. All in all, this is too good for 2* but not good enough for 3*; but since it's below the standard of its 3* predecessors I guess 2* is more or less fair.
Don't worry -- there are great things to come later in the series!
Lost motivation after the "second cage" opened and I had no idea how to proceed.
This map is very confusing, below are two instances that make it strange: 1) There are two gold keys, and if you get one of them through a secret you can exit the level almost half the way (too early); 2) I was able to get the silver key not the way the author meant it. I managed to swim in lime and get it instead of using the biosuit, so it screwed the gameplay as well (I got past the silver door too early). As the result, I explored the rest of the map after killing 50/112 monsters just to see what was left to kill.
Just came to say I jumped over the lava chasm at the beginning. :)
