Oldschool nice map, with good layout and interconnectionability, abit dark but nice lighting, decent difficulty and a bit low ammo sometimes and a lot too much others. The rest is a bit duller, well, more like it isn't as good, but its OK. The flow of gameplay is a bit variable, sometimes you get one monster at a time but at the next room you get shamblers, shalraths, demons and the like, only to get one monster at a time again at the next places.
This one is old school one of a map, not this well balanced as you expect to be modern quake maps. But therefore still worth a try...
The first map is a great representation of Quake E4.
I liked the first map a lot and appreciated its interconnectivity. The second one was well-built but not really my style. In each level, there's an opportunity to trick fiends and shamblers into fighting each other--it's fun to watch.
Looks good but it's clumsy irritation. The button at the beginning couldn't be more ambiguous.
