A huge badly lit map with lots of style changes, many monsters right-in-your-face and gimmicky gameplay ideas.

The shambler surprise and lava trap are entertaining. The rest is bleh.

Interesting. Played on skill 2. 0/1 secrets found.

Architecture is average in details, but has some characteristic setpieces, layout is mainly linear, ammo is limited in options but above iD maps in quantity, combats are mainly straightforward, with some interesting arenas and some too close ambushes that are almost impossible to avoid getting hit in some cases, in general above iD in difficulty. and with only one secret here.

The map highlights on atmosphere, thanks to the use of a combination of darkness, architecture, texturing and music, and has some fun combats with some good ideas. I would like to think that the shambler is on purpose but i have my doubts. On the more negative side, while it adds a lot, the darkness hinders the combat sometimes in a bad way, also there is a room, that while it doesn't do anything exactly bad per se, it is very easy to fall into the lava due to expectations.

For the time it was done i think it gets from me a 3+/4-.
