No idea why this isn't rated a solid 5. Great gameplay. I love how you withheld the plasma gun to make the zombies into an ever growing problem you just had to dodge around. The teleporter was cool and the teleport itself was actually pretty intimidating. I loved the ending message too. It's good that I can still be surprised by a Quake map's story. Well done, great map.

It's a 4/5 from me. I agree with Luna's Loyal Subject that the gathering zombie threat was excellent, but the map is just too small, too blocky and too old-fashioned to get the full five stars. The over-use of teleports also feels like a bit of a cop-out, where later Necros maps would work harder to tie all the geography together organically. Still, it's fun to play, which counts for a lot. (That's why I gave the 4 rather than the 3 that it arguably merits.)

One of an all-time replayables for me.

Solid smallish level with good replay value. This is one of those levels where you will remember what it is all about. The ending text was a nice touch too.

The only reason I didn't give this a 5 is because visually the level didn't convey the sense of place and atmosphere this level deserved.
