Once again [Kona] shows off his design skills. This small 1 on 1 map is quick, furious, and is everything anyone could want to have in a deathmatch level.

I enjoyed 1 Vs 1 but anything over that begins to get crazy. The map is simply to small and fast to support more than 3 players. Ammo and health are in great supply and in nice accessible areas. Even the mega-health is obtainable without a challenge, except for flying rockets maybe.

There are some newly created textures here that help give this level its polished look and the architecture is very solid. There aren’t any grand shots to see so there’s nothing to distract you from your target. Still, this map is a nice looking level.

Overall, [Kona] builds quality maps. Evergem, his first deathmatch level, is exactly what players need. Download away.
