Leftovers is by one of the most popular mappers for Quake, Ikka Keränen. Ikka has been know to push the envelope with his maps but unfortunately, don’t expect to be astounded with Leftovers. Don’t get me wrong because this is a good map it just doesn’t have that normal Ikka touch.

Architecture is sound with a few eye catchers, textures are your standard id textures, but game play is superb. Tons of fighting fill this map with enemies coming at you in all directions. Your objective is to get to an escape shuttle before it leaves but of course things go wrong and you are stuck to battle your way through the rest of the level.

Overall, this is a enjoyable map and although it doesn’t bring anything that impressive to the table it does provide some good ol’ straight Quake II battling.
