This file includes two new weapons for your arsenal. To begin with, The Blue Destroyer gun replaces your normal shotgun. It is an automatic double barreled shotgun that creates instant piles of gibs out of your enemies. Including Shamblers and Vores. The sound is decent enough and the power of the weapon is undeniable. So what’s the problem with it?

For starters, the readme file claims to have a new model. But by looking at the screenshots you can see it is just a reskinned double barreled shotgun. Not very impressive. Next the weapon is way to powerful, making single player a boring task once you get over the fun of seeing how quickly you can kill everything. This weapon would also lack in deathmatch and would quickly become the cheap weapon of choice. Lastly, it only uses one shell per shot. How is this when it is a double barreled weapon? Hmmmm.

The second weapon included with The Blue Destroyer is a sword that replaces your ax. The sword looks good with the blood on it but when you swing the sword the hand looks a little funny. It does serve its purpose and the attacks are a lot more effective than the ax.

Overall, The Blue Destroyer is an interesting mod that had some good ideas behind it but unfortunately the lack of imagination on the model ended up hurting the weapon in the end. The sword is a nice touch but seems to have been added to the file just to make the download somewhat worthwhile.
