Fatal Opportunity is a map created back when Qauke II was still pretty new. It has standard Q2 textures and the design is on the simple side. There are some interesting areas here, especially the laser bars that come down from the ceiling when you set off an alarm and the shuttle wreck.

Game play is the real winner here with plenty of action. Your objective is to escape from your cell and then escape the prison. Simple, right? Not necessarily, when you consider how well Yooshin placed the Strogg soldiers, and the little traps he added in.

Fatal Opportunity isn’t the eye candy, bar raising level you might be looking for, but it does provide plenty of fun and action that will settle everyones Quake II thirst.
