Purple Haze is a great looking map built to hold up to 12 players. In other words, it’s huge!

Design is top notch with this multi-leveled map. Plenty of cross paths with elevators, stairs, and one wind tunnel. The design is also set up for tons of cross firing, fall damage, and complete 3D battles. Drannerz also chose some nice looking textures that give it a brown-metallic look, a few from Quake II as well. Most weapons find their way into Purple Haze with the rocket launcher and the thunderbolt appearing twice. Other items present are the Quad Damage, Mega Health, and the Ring of Shadows. I felt that each one of these power-ups were set in spots that were too simple for players to get to, this being my only complaint with Purple Haze.

Overall, this is a great map to frag on and I recommend you download it right away.
