The rocket pods offer an interesting twist on the rocket launcher. It fires a small burst of rockets that will cover the room in seconds.

The model is definitely interesting with five barrels. It looks more like some sort of alien gun. The skin works well with the model to create a nice looking mod for you.

Problems with this mod is that you never know which barrel is going to fire and since they point at different areas, it’s hard could be hard to hit your target if you are trying to conserve your rockets. A solution to this would be to just continue pressing the fire button creating the carpet bombing effect. This is highly effective but it eats through your rockets since every shot counts as one rocket. That brings us to the third problem. Each rocket pod counts as one rocket but it is nowhere near the strength of your rocket.

Overall, Rocket Pods offer an interesting twist on gameplay and would be pretty nice to have in a weapons pack, but as a single weapon it falls short of glory.
