MULTIPLAYER LAN ON THE NET!!
    Yeap, that's right Multiplayer LAN on the net. Is this form for playing multiplayer fair? I'll expand a little on what I mean. Colleges, Universities and other institutions often have incredible connections to the internet (not too weird when you consider it all started there). 2Mbit up to T3 connections are common. Certain Clans playing Quake are formed in these intitutions and they all play together in the same room giving them not only "On Server Ping" (read : under 50) but, also the possibilities of talking together and playing in units of 2-3 whilst attacking or defending. Whislt this form of "Clan Match Play" is great for them it's somewhat depressing for the other poor Clans with both HPB & LPB and pings from 120 - 999. Shouldn't average team ping have something to do with the result of the game? Some form of Handicapping must prevail here or else the Clans with HPB's will eventually get dipondent and stop playing because they always get whacked by Clans with LPB's. I could go on ad infinitum but I won't.

Could we please try to straighten this out.

(Editors note: Personally I think if the Clan was honorable, they would inform those that they were playing about the fact that they have actual voice communication. I would venture to say that the only time all those guys can get organized and agree on anything is when they are playing TF. Can you imagine them ordering pizza! So how to deal with this? I haven't a clue. Unless all clans want to move in together and form true TF communities! Us old geezers already have a facility set up for that, the local retirement home!!!!)

Where can I find a Grappling hook for ctf?

(Editors note: Hm.... Good question. I get most of my Grappling hooks from the local Army surplus. I find that they are usually of the best quality and well designed. I did mail order one once from Spys R Us, but it was not nearly as nice as the American made ones. The Bat Man deluxe model is my favorite.)

    Hey I think (and what i think goes) that you should mention Weapons Factory to the quake community on your news page. Its basically a TF conversion for Quake2, with some of the classes changed (some suck, some are better). But why am I saying that? You are part of the all-knowing planetquake gods, so i dont need to tell you what WF is, right? ok then. But still, we need more people playing it, so it will grow bigger (hope that sounded ok...) as a mod. Oh, and by the way, i think your site is very well done (actually its close to being charcoaled) and has some good info on TF. Cant wait for TF2.....

    The day has come that feared i would stop playing TF i have played TF for 415 days approximately a year and 2 months.I dont want to stop but i am going to boarding school on the 12th of september and wont be back for 5 weeks (closest long weekend) and since my craveing for TF has been slowly disapateing i fear that when i come back i will have no more have any joy and laughter for playing quake nor Team Fortress so you can count me out the Team Fortress community. Although the only thing i really contributed to the Team Fortress community was my Book of Quake at http://www.bomb.net/spyder/quakebook.html and im not known to very many people in the high ranks of the TF community although I like to think I know them and I know I wont make a difference if im gone or not. So i would like to say good-bye to the Team Fortress community. See Ya Later!

    Just a quick question.Doesn't anyone like the heavy? I mean,so what if we're slow,bald or can't run and shoot at the same time? No one has a page just for them.You hardly ever see the leader of a clan as a heavy,(except me.)*Snif* I feel so alone,so abused. Albatross,Leader and ONLY Heavy of Clan Post Office Workers.

(Editors note: Actually I think there are several HWGuy sites, I just don't know them right off hand. The HWGuy is the only other class I have played to any great extent besides soldier. I think they rock. Everyone has their own opinion when it comes to the best class. Generally speaking, all classes hate all other classes. All classes think that they are the best class. That is the nature of the beast, man....)

    Wondering if anyone knows any good HWGuy sites... I see every class on PF just about except mine. Before my HD crash a while back I had a link for a few, -=OX=- among them, but alas no more.
